Booking:

This section is all about booking and coaching, which is the lifeline of your business. When your books are snow white (meaning you have no parties or appointments) then you are out of business. When your books are black and blue (from all the pen marks and appointments) you are booming in business!!! We all want our books to be black and blue!

If you have not made your contact list you need to STOP right now and do not continue! You need to make sure that you have a contact list before moving on! If you are moving to a brand new area or just moved and know absolutley NO ONE in your area then vox me and let's chat about how to still get a contact list. You want to go through your cell phone, facebook, think outside of the box and create a contact list of 50-75 people. WRITE IT DOWN ON A PIECE OF PAPER AND SEND ME A PHOTO

Booking Tips...

01

Attitude is everything.  If you do not sound happy, nobody will book with you.  Do some jumping jacks, listen to your favorite motivating song, or say an affirmation before booking.  When you are smiling you sound happier!

Affirmation to say out loud before you start booking (it works)

"I am a master booker.  Everyone I know wants to book with me."

02

Don't take it personal.  You must takes the emotion out of it!  This is a business and you must treat it like one.  If someone tells you "no" they are not rejecting you, just saying no to the opportunity or maybe just no right now.  This business is mathematical and magical.  The math happens when you know and work your numbers.

Number to know when booking - it's all in the averages

Book 10 to hold 5

Book 7 to hold 4

Book 5 to hold 2

When you work the law of averages you will be much happier!  Parties do cancel.  Life happens, so it's always smart to have multiple parties on your books at all times.  The best place to be is when you have so many parties on your books and one reschedules and you're like, "OMG!  I am so glad because I am so busy I am totally ok with that!"

When you get upset about a party rescheduling or someone telling you no they don't want to book a party and you shut down you are not taking the emotion out of it. This would be similar to if you walked into Nordstrom and you didn't buy anything and they closed their doors and just said, "she didn't buy anything, so we are going to close are doors because we are so upset" That would be crazy!!! So work like Nordstrom and keep on working even when no one buys anything or when someone tells you no. Work your averages and you will be just fine.

***dont get me wrong it stinks when people say no or when you have a zero dollar party but just brush it off and move on.

03

Overcome booking objections.  Not all booking responses are going to be perfect and cookie cutter, so it's best to anticipate how you will react to that random response. Click on the 'booking objections' button to get all the scripts needed for overcoming those less than perfect responses from our potential bookings.  If you get a response you don't know how to response do, you can always screen shot it and send it to your director for help.

Coaching:

A party worth booking is a party worth coaching!

"When you choose not to coach your party, that is like handing your hostess a blank check and asking her to determine your commission for the night!" -ENSD Lia Carta

Watch this video on how I coach my parties to ensure better results. By coaching my parties, I've had sales as high as $800+. A little extra time coaching your parties is so worth it!

Coaching Supplies Needed...

  • Date book with hostess names

  • Pencil (so you can erase if needed)

  • Cell phone and charger

  • Red Stamp App with pic invites made

  • Party Tracking Sheet

  • Coaching Scripts

Coaching Tips...

01

Print all your materials needed at the beginning of the month.  Success happens when you are consistent and prepared. If you know you want 10 parties on your books for the month, print out 10 party trackers and have them ready to go.

02

Pre-make your SWAG bags ahead of time. "Customizing" SWAG bags for each party can get time consuming, but you want to remember that making them does not make you money. You don't want to spend a ton of time each week making these.

Once you set your goal of the number of faces you want to see in the month, you can figure out how many hostesses you'll have.

Goal:  30 faces

average 5 faces per party

6 parties total

6 hostess bags & 24 guest bags

Make half makeup bags and half skincare bags of each hostess and guest bags. You can add the name tags and gift cards to the outside of the guest bags. For the hostess bags, I do not tie them until I've added all extra goodies earned.

Having them pre-made makes it easier to grab and put finishing touches on them when prepping the day before the party.

03

Create shortcuts for your scripts. iPhones have a keyboard setting to make shortcuts. I am not an android user, but I am sure there is a way to do that too.  This keeps all your scripts on hand, and you can text them out really quickly.  Just remember to keep a note of what your shortcuts are so you remember! LOL
